All Types of Electrical Jobs

Abode Electrical is an ELECSA registered company operating in South-West London. ELECSA operates competent person schemes on behalf of the UK government to ensure that any contractors that you employ are technically competent to carry out the work you want.  They assess contractors across the building services sector including electrical (Part P), heating & hot water, solid fuel and oil.

ELECSA’s  aim is to maintain and promote the best industry practice thus ensuring the technical integrity of any work that their approved contractors carry out for their customers.

Over three-quarters of ELECSA contractors are small, independent tradesmen who form a large section of the backbone of the UK economy. It is vital that these contractors retain the confidence and trust of the UK’s 60 million householders who depend on them to provide quality workmanship at a fair price.

Contractors registered on an ELECSA scheme are assessed annually to ensure that they are working to latest industry standards.

Additionally an ELECSA registered contractor can self-certify their work as being compliant with the relevant Building Regulations. Automatic notification of work to your local Building Control department removes your headache of meeting the requirements of the Building Regulations yourself.  CLG have a leaflet that explains to homeowners what items of work are typically notifiable.
